The NuvoH2O Home Duo Water Softener and Taste Filter System is an eco-friendly solution for hard water problems. The system is compact, measuring a little under 23" tall, 11" wide, and 6 " deep, and comes with a mounting bracket. The filter is 20" long and lasts 6 months. While the system does not remove iron, it will filter out chlorine, sediment, and chemicals. The company has been providing eco-friendly hard water solutions for about 13 years. The system can be used with electronic descalers and should be installed before the electronic system. Overall, customers were happy with the taste of their water after installing the system. However, some customers found that the water conditioner did not do any good and actually made the water have more lime deposits in their sinks and faucets. Replacement cartridges can be expensive, costing around $150.
