Mechanix Wear Safety Work Gloves Editorial Review
The Mechanix Wear M-Pact Leather Work Gloves are made up of materials such as suede, marine leather and dri-fit poly. These gloves have been designed to withstand the wear and tear that comes from working in Construction, around barbed wire and fence posts, and while operating a fork lift. The gloves are machine washable, and getting them wet seems to help them break-in better. However, some customers have reported the gloves take a week or two to break-in, and some hot spots caused by stitching, inserts, and pass-through can make them uncomfortable at first. The gloves have a sewn red loop at the bottom that's about 1/2" wide but no rectangular holes to clip them to your pockets or bags. The Durahide index finger makes handling materials easy, while the impact protection provided by the gloves has saved some customers from irreversible damages. However, some users described the plastic on the back of the fingers to be ill-advised and prevents hand movements, while others said the material used real quick despite a high price tag of the gloves.
