The fan unit is designed to be installed inside an AV cabinet, receiver, or amp. The AIRCOM T10 has a noise level of only 24 dBA, making it a quiet addition to any cinephile's sanctuary. The front-exhaust layout aids in cooling the equipment placed around it by forcing warmer air out the front. The unit itself is black with a digital display. The readouts are not too bright to be distracting and are moderately visible through glass doors. The T10 automatically detects the temperature using a built-in temperature sensor, and users can set the trigger temperature to automatically start the fans. The model also has two USB ports on the back that can power additional fans. The fans run at a low noise level even when on a maximum speed setting. Possible downsides to purchasing the AIRCOM T10 include its high price point, a lack of reverse ventilation capabilities, and the need for adequate open air space around the equipment, or at least minimal ventilation.
