The Red Devil 0637 Acrylic Asphalt Crack Filler Sealant is a great product that is easy to use and has the perfect viscosity. The product should be applied after cleaning the area and making sure it is free of debris. Users need to cut the nozzle tip high enough so that it is easier to squeeze and then use a wide spatula to press it down and smooth it out without spreading it too much. It is best to stay at a 1/2" or under crack width and if it is deeper, add a backer rod first so that the product will cure evenly with the surface. Once applied, it takes at least 72 hours to fully cure but possibly a little longer under humid conditions. The product should be applied in temperatures above freezing and should remain dry for 72 hours. The product is not recommended for use in temperatures below freezing as the cracks in the patched area show up when temperatures go somewhere below freezing.
