It is highly recommended for a smoother and more enjoyable shave. According to users, this preshave cream also reduces cuts and irritation. Although it can be used as a moisturizer, its primary purpose is to prepare the skin for shaving. This cream is invigorating and relatively inexpensive. The scent can be strong at first but fades quickly. It also works well with the Cremo brand shave cream. The only con is that those with sensitive eyes may tear up if it gets too close to the eye area (strong menthol). The jar lasts a long time, about 9-10 months for some users who shave almost every day or around two to three times a week. Some users report that the film left from this cream gums up the blades on electric shavers. The product is made in Italy with no expiration date. It works well both as a pre-shave and an aftershave balm and can be used for head shaving as well.
