The Casio fx-cg50 is a graphing calculator that is ideal for students as it is allowed in high school tests and exams. It is better than the TI-84 Plus CE due to quicker calculations and providing max, min, etc. without having to guess boundary values. It has a range of features including being able to solve simultaneous equations with complex numbers and calculate square roots of complex numbers. It can also do polar expressions and has an exam mode which is suitable for IB exams. The calculator is approximately 7.5 tall x 3.75 wide x 0.875 thick. Customer reviews were largely positive stating that it is a great tool for calculations with a durable and comfortable screen. However, some reviewers mentioned issues with the calculator's battery life and the screen always staying on.
