It is XL 20"x20" in size and very versatile, made from silicone which makes it wet and dry erase, foldable, and rollable. It has hexes on one side and squares on the other, and both sides are non-slip, which means that it does not slide easily on smooth surfaces without some form of lubrication. When it comes to markers, it works well with Expo dry-erase and Vis-a-vis wet erase, but users have noted that it is wise to remove dry-erase ink soon after use, as it can set a bit if you try to keep the same set-up between sessions, and become very difficult to remove. The mat is suitable for educational purposes too, but you have to know how to cut it carefully without damaging it. Finally, it stores well without creases and in general gets the job done well, but some people may not like silicone's grip and spongy nature and it may interfere with smooth gameplay.
