It is easy to install and comes with everything you need to hang it. The instructions are clear and simple to follow. These shutters are not meant to protect your windows during a hurricane, but they do add an attractive look to the exterior of your home. They have some flexibility, but not as much as vinyl siding. If you need replacements for the vinyl plastic fasteners that come with it, you can drill into the brick and use a plastic insert and metal screw instead. If you already have holes in your brick, you can drill through the shutters to secure them tightly to your house. The color of your shutters depends on the color trim you have on your house. Grey looks good with white, black, reds, green, light or dark grey (opposite of shutters).
