The one-handed feature is highly convenient, and they are comfortable to wear. However, there are some drawbacks to these straps. The leather seems to be rubbing off on users' hands, causing a black tint stain that doesn't come off easily. Some customers have experienced a strong smokey beef jerky smell that is overbearing and lasts even after washing. The sizing can be inaccurate, leaving some customers with an excess of velcro and straps left over. Two left-handed straps have been received by customers.
