Removing and re-attaching it is quite tedious. It's flimsy and feels like it could break easily, but it works well in blocking out any glare. It's also relatively cheaper than some of the name brand ones, but not as durable. The side shades were stiff, but they tend to loosen up after use. It has a feature where the hood detaches with a simple slide, which comes in handy when reviewing shots. However, the detachment feature may cause it to get lost easily. It falls off at slight bumps, making it difficult to open and have it stay on. It's excellent for shooting with live view.
