Some suggest it works well for medium to light tongue weight by hand. However, it not advised to be used with heavy trailers as the handle is too short to apply leverage. Customers say they purchased a 2" ball, as it only comes with a 1-7/8" ball. The dolly allows trailers to be moved around by one person, avoiding strain to the back and potential injury. Although the handle is too low for some when locked to the trailer hitch, it works well on dirt areas.
