The Bodum Columbia French Press is a 34 oz. insulated pot that has a metal body and a plastic lid. It comes with a rubber/plastic gasket around the outside of the screen press to create a tight fit for containment of coffee grounds. The product is made in China, and replacement parts are available on smallappliance.com. It pours without dripping and is able to be left on a hot plate without issue.
