This 10 mil sheet features a tenderized paperback veneer that provides stability and flexibility, minimizing splitting, grain-raise, and glue seepage. The veneer is sanded to a smooth, uniform finish, giving it a professional look when applied. Please note that each sheet and lot may have a variation in grain and color appearance due to it being a natural wood product.
This means that the product you receive may not look exactly like the picture. This Maple Wood Veneer Rotary Spliced Sheet is compatible with Solvent-Based adhesives, but not with water-based adhesives. It is recommended that you allow the adhesive to cure for 48 hours before finishing. The sheet is ready for both light stain and clear finish application. To ensure a good bond, make sure the surface where the veneer will be applied is clean, dry, and smooth.
Machine surface sanding of 150 grit is necessary prior to application. Application instructions are included with the product to guide you through the process.
