It provides ample support for larger people, has a good fit overall and is comfortable for long walks. Although made in the USA, the sizes can be a bit confusing since XXW is the same as 6E. The fit is true to size, however, some customers felt that it was not a deep fitting shoe and was narrow. There were also some customers who felt that these were not as good as the previous 84X models. Nevertheless, the shoe is a good value for the price and highly recommended.
