The contactor has 40 amps of inductive and 50 amps of resistive load capacity. The NC or NO status of the contactor's contact is "normally open contacts when not energized." However, the reviews reveal some mixed experiences with the contactor. One reviewer received the wrong item with a misplaced sticker, but he could still use it. Another reviewer received a contactor with damaged mounting plates and bent connections.
