One side of this product has four outlets that are permintly on while the other denoted side has four that you can set to have on and off times. The timer is adjusted to specific time that you can set to your needs. However, this timer does not require a battery to operate, if there is a power outage, the timer stops moving as well. Two slotted holes on the back of this product allow for wall mounting. The product handles 15 amps and is not recommended to be used outdoors. The customer reviews on this product were quite mixed. Generally, it was a good purchase for most however, some people did say their timer stopped working soon or right after they purchased the product. The clicking noise from the timer on some might have been a little loud, but it was not an issue for others. Several other customers had bad experiences with the product, with some stating that the pins were not dependable, it was a waste of money, and that it didn't work at all.
