The Shadow and Bone Turtleback School & Library Binding Edition is a collector's edition of the first book in the Grishaverse series. The exterior of the book is beautifully decorated with gold foil. The book has one full color page and thicker pages with beautiful borders. The book is told from one person's POV, and the plot has secrecy, twists and turns, friendships turned romantic, and hidden agendas. The book is a bit slow to get started, but it's a great read. The book is clean in the romance department and language, and the violence is not extreme. One downside is that the book ends at 58%, and the rest is "sneak peaks" from other books. Another downside is that the Netflix icon is not a sticker, and it's on the sleeve. The book is slightly shorter than the Crow series.
