Users can use the OnlyKey as long as they have a password master set for their password manager. It can also be used to log in to anything with a password that works with a keyboard, including virtual machines, remote desktop or pre-boot authentication. There is mixed feedback with regards to the quality of the documentation, which requires a degree of experience in cybersecurity. The learning curve for those well-versed in tech products can be quite long, and customers felt like a case cover was needed to protect the key. Currently, NFC is not supported due to issues such as a lack of support, power requirements, and lack of safety mechanisms for physical security.
