The Shorai LFX Lithium Battery is a high-performance, lightweight battery for motorcycles. Some of the features include exceeding OEM battery from Harley Davidson and being 10lbs lighter, coming with a hardware package that includes "L-Terminals" and "Z-Terminals" for alternate cable attachment, and having built-in thermal runaway containment in the Battery Management System (BMS). The battery operates at 12V and has a capacity that is not explicitly stated but only lasts three days between trickle charges/drives. It can be charged with a traditional battery tender that has an output voltage of 13.2-15.1 VDC, but the charger must not have a maintenance cycle as it will damage the battery.
