With a foot-activated release pedal, it provides slow and controlled lowering of the load. It occupies just a little more space than an average rolling office chair and rolls around easily. The jack is built strong and well and has a one-year warranty. However, it needs to be filled and bled, which can be an initial turnoff. It is not suitable for use on a skid that is 5 inches off the ground and needs a gas tank adapter that can be purchased separately.
